The Performance Portable Battery Back is built tuff to withstand off road use. It can be tide down in to place so it can?t be damaged or cause damage. The box is made of aluminium and the handles are made of steel. It has one AGM battery in the pack that can be replaced when need. The fridge buddy 80 has NO jumpstart like our other packs so it is more affordable for your camping and off road trips. This easy to use battery pack can be used as a dual battery system for vehicles that cannot fit a dual battery system under the bonnet or to be used to power up caravans, for camping, run lights and fridges etc.
In Car Charging Kit:
The in car charging kit is a veryeasy to install with no ignition feeds, to do so you just need to hook up the cable to the battery, then mount the smart solenoid and the 50amp circuit breaker and run the cable to where you want your pack. (Easy instructions come with pack along with contacts for technical support) It is made with 6m of B&S battery cable so you won?t get any voltage drop. The charging kit is 50amp and will charge between 2-4 hours depending on your alternator output and will charge to 100% of its capacity as the battery is a AGM battery. The characteristics of an AGM battery is fast recharge time and is fully sealed. The smart solenoid Charges when main battery is at 13.5v and disconnects Aux battery when main is at 12.5v.
Battery:
The battery is ONE AGM and completely sealed so it won?t leak acid or gases. It can be stored on its side while working. The battery can be put in a non ventilated area like in the back of a car or in a caravan etc. The battery can be charged by a 240v charger and can be charged in a car by the alternator. It can also be charged by solar. The battery can charge in as little time as 3-4 hours.
